I learned that family connections can really help, especially when it comes to networking. I am very lucky in that most of the people in my family are in business or technology related fields, so it was not too difficult when trying to find people that fit each part of the assignment. Moving forward, I plan on continuing to use family connections as they are a great tool if you have them. No, I have only ever used family connections in the past, so this was no different. I will say that I need to start working on getting connections outside of my family for the future, but for the time being family networking connection is fine.
I had a hard time completing this assignment and I really learned the importance of having a large and reliable network. I love how you were able to utilize your own network to reach out to business specialists. When you are doing anything in life it is always helpful to get advice from someone who has been there before. I wish you the best of luck on your venture
ReplyDeleteHey Matthew,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have a lot of successful family members in California. I think its smart to keep in touch with them and use them as potential connections in future years. Similar to you I plan on using family and friend connections because I think networking is a major aspect to being successful in the business world and certainly gives an individual a place to start. Matthew,
ReplyDeleteGreat job finding individuals who can relate to your industry and market. The only concern I have it that all of the individuals you have here are family members. If you were to find three people who were not in your family then you would have your family members as assets in addition to the three people. Overall, great job and keep up the amazing work!
