Elevator Pitch No. 3

One of the feedback comments that std out to me was how I would still earn revenue if people started to try to abuse the rides.  My response was to include how I charge per person's service package in the elevator pitch.  This would allow people to rest assured that I would not get shorted money if people try to abuse the system.  One thing that surprised me was still the overwhelming support for the service.  I am really happy that I continuously get great support for my idea!  Some feedback that I thought was silly was that some people just don't like Uber and felt to share that, but not include any tips for improvement.

Based on the feedback, I only changed one thing.  I included how I would charge per person's service package.  This I felt was the biggest concern of people based off of their feedback, given their worries of people trying to abuse the rides and me not being able to earn enough revenue.  With this addition, I feel that I have addressed the most pertinent concerns from my feedback.

  1. Hey there,
I think this pitch was very clear and to the point and it answered a lot of the questions actual investors would be wanting answered in this sort of pitch. The concept seems to be a good one, although I would like to address how you would get the drivers to agree to such a service? It wasn't clear if you would be recruiting companies or starting your own fleet of taxi drivers.. If its the latter than that could make for a very expensive start up cost. Another thing an investor would be interested in is the marketing targets.
Great stuff otherwise! Check out my post here: http://blovejoyblog.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no-3.html

  2. I like this idea! I take Uber all the time and it definitely adds up. It seems like your business model/ plan is well thought out. My only suggestion is maybe to not start out by saying Lyft and Uber are "horrible," but instead just say what they are and why your idea is better. What do you plan on calling your idea also? Maybe I missed it, but also how much do you plan on selling the subscription for? Just some thoughts/ questions? Good pitch though- the jacket is a nice touch!

  3. Hey there. First off, I wanted to say that you did a good job on this assignment. I thought your idea was pretty interesting. My question is what’s to stop uber or lyft from implementing your pricing model? They would be able to do it cheaper than you because they don’t have to work in the profits you would need. Also if you have some free time, please check out my Elevator Pitch 3 at this link: http://parkeruf.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-3.html
