Week 12 Reading Reflection

1. The thing that stood out the most to me was all the graphs and charts that they used to describe the various things in this chapter.  I especially liked "The Strategic Management Process" chart because it helped make a confusing concept easier to understand.
2. One thing that I found to be sort of confusing was Strategic Planning.  I understood the overall idea, but struggled with some of the more detailed ideas.
3. Two questions I have for the author are:
1. What are some ways to prolong venture growth?
• This could be very helpful for businesses just starting up and wanting to make sure their product grows and continues to produce profits for as long as possible.
2. Do you think a computer or mobile technology, such as an app, would have a different venture cycle than what is shown in the textbook?
• This is good to know because many entrepreneurs make apps nowadays and this could help them have a general idea of the timeline of their apps life.
4. I don't disagree with anything, I agreed with everything the author said.
